Sultan Ahmad Shah Agriculture Park is located around 5 km from Kuantan City. It is originally established by the Department of Agriculture in 1988, the 300-hectare park serves primarily as a research station and one of the many agriculture development centres in the country.
Formerly known as Indera Mahkota Agricultural Park, the park was established to benefit the farming community in particular, and all levels of society in general. Apart from showcasing the nation's heritage of natural and agricultural richness and diversity, the Park also serves as a centre for research and development for the agricultural industry. Its emphasis on care and concern for the environment also sets an example for the public at large to follow.
